Photoshop
Instead of Adobe Photoshop I used an online tool called photopea it works the same way as photoshop but it’s for free and I think it’s a great alternative for simple photo editing. I also edited a picture where I am situated next to the Eiffel Tower and you can find that in my Practice page. I really enjoyed learning about photoshop and photo editing and I will definitely put my knowledge into practice soon.
As LinkedIn is a crucial part of today’s business world it is very important that you start building your LinkedIn page as soon as possible. LinkedIn is a way to show employers your work experience, your interests etc. Just like other social media platforms LinkedIn represents you interests, you personality in a way and the people you know. It is very important to keep it professional but at the same time very genuine and true. I have used LinkedIn for job search and to build my professional CV or so called online CV. CV’s on paper are quite outdated, LinkedIn is used by employers to head hunt people so it’s important that the LinkedIn page has something eye-catching and something that stands out so when a potential employer takes a look at the LinkedIn page they have a clear understanding of you skills, interests and what kind of jobs you are looking for. All in all LinkedIn is a great social media platform for your professional life updates.
My First Learning report
I think this will be a great way to start my career. During this course I am very interested in learning how to create different websites, blog posts, how to edit images etc. because I want to have my own event production business and this is a great stepping stone for me to see what kind of different options are there in the creative side of business owning. Nowadays looks are everything so it has to be visually pleasing and simple, because, let’s be real, the society now is quite lazy and the simpler everything is the more likely your business is gonna do better.
